Waternish has now got its own Food Bank drop off point.

This has been set up at Allt a Chaim, the first house on the left as you come onto Waternish. It’s a long, white bungalow with a timber building to the side. There’s plenty of room to either pull into the top of the drive or park on the road with a shiny, aluminium bin which will be emptyed daily and taken to the Food Bank storage point in Portree. Items can also be picked up from local homes call 592304.

Unfortunately, the Food Bank cannot, at present, receive fresh food so  tinned & dried foods are required. Equally, toiletries, personal hygiene items and even odd treats are much appreciated.
