Broadford's popular Cafe Sia will be opening the brand new takeaway area on Monday 12 June.
The purpose built takeaway area, named Siaway, is set to the left of the main entrance and is the latest addition to the popular cafe.
Tom Eveling, Cafe Director, told The Skye Times: "Pizza homemade from scratch, using premium ingredients and cooked to order in an Italian wood-fired oven, followed by an espresso or latte made from own-roasted, small batch gourmet coffee beans, ground fresh to order by the opera-trained master roaster and barista.
"No, you’re not in Rome. It’s Café Sia in Broadford on Skye and we’re still doing our best since opening three years ago to serve up a large slice of la dolce vita!"
All pizzas are available gluten-free. Options available include a chocolate sweet pizza, for afters, with hand-cooked base topped with caramelised bananas with mascarpone cheese, mini marshmallows and chocolate sauce.
Tom continued: "To be honest we’re just using the business as excuse to explore our love of fine wine, coffee and pizza and that authentic Italian style and taste is enhanced by our unique Highland twist using local ingredients:
"The pizza Over the sea to Skye features Hebridean hot and cold smoked salmon with tuna, tomato, capers and silverskin anchovies.
"The Deamhan (Gaelic for demon) with Scottish venison salami, fresh Scotch bonnet chilli oil, peppers, mozzarella and tomato.
"From a Scottish brunch breakfast to a Scottish goat’s cheese salad, prime Scottish beef mini burgers served three different ways, the home-made Espresso Gelato (Dairy Free and similar to coffee sorbet) or the Scottish Vanilla ice cream in the Affogato – Café Sia focuses on quality for an intense taste experience.
"Daily specials also showcase the abundant natural produce including langoustines, ‘squatties’ (squat lobsters) and scallops, all locally landed and brought fresh to the kitchen door. Simply bellissimo."
