Updates to Freeview services may result in having to retune TV equipment.
This essential technical work is part of a UK-wide programme being carried out region by region.
Following a decision by Ofcom, some airwaves used by Freeview are being reallocated to allow for the future development of new mobile broadband services.
Transmitters across the UK are being updated as part of a major engineering programme being carried out between now and 2020.
Skye's retune date is Wednesday 20 September. Services will be subject to disruption during this work, which is expected to complete around mid-afternoon. If you find you are missing channels you can retune at any time after this.
Freeview channels from the Borve, Bruernish, Clettraval and Lochmaddy local relays will be temporarily off-air mid-morning but viewers receiving their signal from these do not need to retune.
On-screen messages will let you know when changes to Freeview signals are taking place in your area.
