A yacht came loose from its mooring in Portree Harbour in the early hours of Thursday morning.
At 4.10am, Portree Lifeboat crew were called out. The 36ft yacht was resting on the shore at Scorrybreac after snapping its chain mooring.
The Lifeboat towed the boat back to a safe mooring.
The duty Coxwain, DonnieNic, is quoted as saying "At 4.30am, Storm Hector made for challenging conditions to retrieve the yacht from the shoreline and back to a safe mooring."
