Pupils from Bun-sgoil Shlèite (Sleat Primary) developed their First Aid skills during workshops held in May.

The workshops, specifically designed to fit into the school day, were held courtesy of West Yorkshire Medical Services.

The Head Teacher, Mrs Hazel Morrison said: “To be equipped and be able to respond in an emergency is a very valuable skill and one that we were delighted to be able to offer to every pupil in primaries 4-7, thanks to Mike and his team and for the support from our Parent Council."

Bun-sgoil Shlèite school staff are set to attend a Paediatric First Aid Course and the Emergency First Aid at Work Course with West Yorkshire Medical Services Highland Division in the near future.
