Events showing the Maritime & Coastguard Agency's new Emergency Towing Vehicle (ETV) are coming to the Highlands and Islands.
People had the chance to see the vessel at Ullapool during a local Rotary Club and RNLI Open Day. Hundreds of people visited the harbour side for the event.
Russel Freeman from the Maritime & Coastguard Agency said: "The size of the vessel meant people really couldn’t miss it and it was really popular, with several hundred people coming onboard to have a look.
"The vessel performs a vital role in protecting the Scottish coastline and it’s right that people should be given the opportunity to visit the ship and meet the crew. They were given guided tours and were genuinely interested in all they saw."
The ETV will be at Kyle of Lochalsh on 8 September.
