An iPad has been found in the south of Skye.

Davie Cameron discovered the iPad on the Ord to Tokavaig road on Saturday 25 August around 1-2pm.

Davie told The Skye Times: "On entering Ord coming down the hill, there is a sharp left bend along the shoreline, which is a favourite spot for tourists taking photos of the view.  Just past the bend, there is a cattle grid.

"When I approached the cattle grid, I saw something on the road, so I opened my door and there, lying on the road, was an iPad in a protective case."

Davie says the iPad is completely undamaged.  "I reckon it had rattled of the roof of a car when crossing the cattle grid.  I picked it up and carried on my journey.  Along the way, I stopped at various points where there were vehicles parked and asked a few people if they'd lost one.  No luck!"

Davie has resorted to social media in an attempt to reunite the iPad with its owner.  To get in touch with Davie, phone 07769953500.
