A woman was struck by a car in Lochaber on Monday 27 August.

The female pedestrian was struck by a Dacia Sandero near Loch Ba - north of Bridge of Orchy - at around 4.45pm.

The 41-year-old woman suffered serious injuries and was airlifted to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Glasgow. Her condition is not believed to be life-threatening.

Nobody else was injured in the incident.

The road was closed until around 11pm to allow for an investigation to take place at the scene.

Road Policing Sergeant Ewan Calder said: "We are working to establish the full circumstances of this collision and would ask any witnesses who have not yet spoken to police to come forward as soon as possible.

"I would also like to thank the public for their patience and co-operation while the road was closed on Monday evening.

"Anyone with information can contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident 2618 of August 27 or reference NP3477/18."
