Police are appealing for information on a missing man.

Jamie Williams was reported missing from his home in Inverness.  Police say he does not have access to a vehicle and may be hitchhiking.

The 46-year-old was last seen in the Church Street area on July 27, 2018, and has only recently been reported missing following concerns raised by his family.

Jamie is described as being around 6ft 4inches, of a stocky build with dark/greying hair that is long on top and short at the sides.  He has brown eyes, an English accent and when last seen he was wearing a black T-shirt and black jeans.

Anyone who has seen Jamie or a man matching his description is asked to contact Police on 101 quoting reference number NN/9617/18.  The Police stated: "More than a month has now passed since Jamie was last seen so please still get in touch even if you think your information might be too old – it’s crucial we piece together his movements over this time.

"We would also appeal directly to Jamie to make contact with us if he sees this appeal so that we can ensure he is safe and well."
