Road and rail links between Mallaig – Fort William have now been restored.

After a massive landslide late last week which brought 100 tonnes of mud and stones onto the roadway and rail lines normal travel is now possible.

Over the week-end traffic controls allowed vehicles to pass the affected section of the A830 but it was only today that rail services became fully operational.
