Photographers in the Skye, Lochaber and Badenoch constituency could have their work on display in the Scottish Parliament, thanks to a new competition from a local MSP.
Kate Forbes has invited photographers of all ages and abilities to enter her competition, with the theme of "Made In The Highlands."
The MSP explained: “I am keen to encourage budding photographers of all ages and stages, and I thought this competition would provide one of them with a new platform.
“One of the drawbacks of this job is that I’ve got to spend a lot of time away from home, and so my walls are covered with images and scenes from the Highlands.
“There is one notable space, though, which I’d like to fill with some cracking photography. Plenty of people visit my office every week and often comment on the pictures and so I thought it would be nice to showcase some home grown talent on the walls.
“All are welcome to take part and I look forward to seeing the entries.”
The competition has a closing date of Monday 18 March at 12 noon. Finalists will be announced the next day.
