The skye times mobile

A multi-agency rescue was carried out after a man fell in the Quiraing area yesterday (Wednesday 12 June.)

The incident was reported around 12:30pm.

Police, Skye Mountain Rescue and HM Coastguard all attended to assist the man, who had suffered a suspected shoulder injury.

The Coastguard helicopter uplifted the man at around 3pm and airlifted him to Raigmore Hospital for treatment.
