Elizabeth Reeder, tea with the author
Sleat, Isle of Skye
SEALL is delighted to work with Bogmyrtle Skye, the Café and second-hand bookshop in Struan to bring one of our new series of literary events to Skye. Come along for a good cup of tea, some fine home-baking and an author.
Elizabeth K Reeder writes novels, essays, and stories. She also writes for the radio.
She is a lecturer in Creative Writing at University of Glasgow.
Elizabeth is the author of two critically acclaimed novels, ‘Ramshackle’ and ‘Fremont’. Her stories and experimental essays are widely published and broadcast and often explore questions of cartography, family and memory.
Recently she has been writing about fire, archives and whisky. Elizabeth will talk about the joys and challenges of writing and reading and will take us from frosty Chicago, to the deserts of the southwest and the remotest reaches of Scotland.
Tickets £10 includes tea and scone
Venue: Bogmyrtle Skye café in Struan at 3pm on Easter Sunday 1 April
Please reserve your seat and pay at the door.
