This November we are offering a block of 3 classes exploring the local
history of Skye and Lochalsh.  These are hands-on sessions which will
allow you to research the history of the area you live in by using
original archive source material along with digital records.  The
sessions are at the Skye and Lochalsh Archive Centre from 11am-1pm on
Wednesdays 14th, 21st, and 28th November.  Staff will show you examples
of maps, photographs and census records to help with your research and
digital skills training will also be provided for those who require it.
There is no charge to attend the classes but booking is essential as
spaces are limited.  Contact us on 01478 614078 or at
